Meet the Therapists
Renee LaFrancis
Speech Language Pathologist
Renee is the co-founder of No Walls Therapy. She has been a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) since 2018, bringing a wealth of experience from both clinical and school-based settings. Currently in her 7th year as a full-time school-based SLP, she has worked across diverse environments, including private practices and various educational settings, providing comprehensive support to students with a wide range of communication needs.
Renee has extensive experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, those with Intellectual Disabilities, and non-verbal children. Her approach is rooted in creating individualized, compassionate, and effective therapy plans that foster meaningful communication skills.
As a parent to a vibrant 2-year-old, Renee understands the importance of early language development and the role of family in nurturing communication growth. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, believing that nature offers rich, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and support language development.
Renee’s passion lies in helping children find their voice and empowering families to support their child’s communication journey both in and out of therapy sessions.
Kelly is the c0-founder of No Walls Therapy and a licensed occupational therapist since 2013. She brings a wealth of experience from both clinic and school settings and is currently in her eighth year working part-time as a school-based OT.
One of the most transformative experiences of Kelly’s education was studying child development in Denmark for a year. During this time, she had the opportunity to observe forest schools and immerse herself in the “Danish way” of encouraging independence and risky play for young children. This experience shaped her approach to therapy, reinforcing her commitment to allowing children the space to take risks, explore freely, and grow in a natural, supportive environment.
Kelly is certified in Handwriting Without Tears, the SOS Approach to Feeding, and Reflex Integration. She is passionate about creating a space where children can feel empowered, develop confidence, and learn through sensory exploration and movement—just as her own children do in their everyday lives.
Kelly is a mother of three children—ages 9, 6, and 4. As a parent, she understands the importance of allowing children to connect with nature. She has seen firsthand how time spent outdoors supports her own children’s regulation, boosts their confidence, and enhances their overall well-being. Whether it's climbing trees, running through fields, or simply taking in the sights and sounds of nature, these experiences have played a vital role in their development.
Throughout her career and motherhood, Kelly has come to appreciate the profound impact that being outdoors can have on children’s growth. This belief inspired her to create No Walls, where nature and therapy intersect to create a therapeutic environment that promotes holistic development.
